Vaidehi Pitre is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Calgary. She is a sustainability professional specializing in life cycle assessment (LCA), greenhouse gas (GHG) quantification, and decarbonization strategies for high-emission industries. With a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and experience across the cement, concrete, chemicals, and bioenergy sectors, she has developed innovative LCA models, performed emissions and air contaminant assessments, and supported strategic sustainability initiatives that drive low-carbon transitions.
