The project will aggregate and evaluate existing data on a range of non-residue feedstocks, with a particular interest in those that could be grown on marginal land, supply chain requirements, an implications of climate change on supply; identify suitable conversion technologies, their potential for scale-up, and associated deployment scenarios; and opportunities for improvement of life-cycle environmental and economic performance relative to current systems.
