My research focuses in environmental sciences focuses on portable X-ray diffraction and carbon sequestration. Additionally I also conduct mineralogical analysis of samples on behalf of others. I have conducted several field studies at derelict mine sites in New South Wales and Tasmania (Australia). Environmental science and rehabilitation inspires me because I believe it is important to reduce or prevent the negative impacts we are having upon the Earth's ecosystem.
