Alexander Berthold Mueller

Alexander Berthold Mueller is a PhD candidate in chemical engineering at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. He obtained his master’s degree in mechanical and process engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany, where his research was in the field of Direct Air Carbon Capture. Based on this research, he planned, designed, built, and validated a fully autonomous demonstrator with an extensive measuring system for his master’s thesis. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Aside from his studies, he enjoys spending his free time either making music with friends or hiking, camping and mountain biking in the great outdoors.
